Deep-Fried Buffalo Chicken Pierogies

Serves 2-3

Ingredients

  • One dozen Buffalo Chicken Pierogies
  • Blue Cheese dressing or sour cream (optional)

Directions

  • Bring frying oil to 350° in a deep-fryer or large skillet.
  • Place pierogies in oil for 4 minutes, turning occasionally until golden brown.
  • Remove pierogies from oil. Drain and let stand for 5 minutes.
  • Serve with a side of Blue Cheese dressing or sour cream.

We served them twice( both times they were a HUGE success). 1) Christmas Eve -really enjoyed by 12 out of 13 guests(one guest doesn't like them - wouldn't even try a bite - his loss). Served as a side with fish, shrimp, salads, and veggies - they were sautéed. 2) Needed a quick lunch for unexpected guests, so we microwaved frozen ones - they were still delicious - everyone raved about them. The only negative comment - the product is not available locally - will delivery in Pa. be in the near future?
