Sauerkraut Pierogies with Apple Kielbasa

Serves 6

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds smoked kielbasa

  • 3 cups unsweetened applesauce

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

  • 3 medium onions, sliced

Directions

  • Slice kielbasa into 1/4" slices. Brown in skillet. Drain.

  • Combine applesauce and brown sugar.

  • Layer kielbasa, onions, and applesauce mixture into your slow cooker.

  • Cover. Set your slow cooker to low and cook for 4-8 hours.

  • Arrive home from work.

  • Prepare Sauerkraut pierogies just how you like them.

  • Enjoy your dinner!!!
